We are seeking a professional, energetic E-commerce Specialist to increase presence and market share in the digital arena, leading growth on a variety of digital retailers, including our own e-commerce website and third-party e-commerce sites. This is an early career level position reporting to the Marketing Manager. Since we are a small and rapidly growing company, many hats may be worn.
What you will be doing/What you need to know to do the job:
- Prospect for B2B and B2C opportunities via online channels
- Come up with ideas and present them to Marketing Manager and CEO on how to maximize digital commerce efforts through current and future channels and how to improve sales. i.e. This will be a proactive role, not a reactive role.
- Prepare, organize, execute, and report on marketing initiates
- Communicate with customers, including answering emails, phone calls, etc.
- Run marketing reports, performance, insights, market research, and more
- Understand, analyses and report on the e-store customer journey
- Analyze trading performance, producing reports and ongoing recommendations to the business
- Monitor the online e-commerce competition constantly
- Execute volume forecasting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Identify new suppliers and 3rd party opportunities that will drive sales volume
- Manage online sales policies
- Manage current and upcoming e-commerce sales channels
- Identify opportunities to increase Site Conversion Rate, Average Order Value and Average Items per Basket
- Identify and manage service providers including payment gateways, fulfillment houses, telemarketing services
- Ensure product offering is in line with current assortment and supports campaign activities
- Communicate well with all internal teams, departments, and management to achieve business goals
- Design, manage and implement internet marketing programs including paid search marketing, organic optimization, blog implementation and link-building
- Help manage our social media marketing including Facebook and other social media sites
- Identifying and implementing strategies for increasing our website traffic & sales
- Researching and resolving HTML code and content, link architecture and navigation issues as they occur
- Find new ways to sell our product through other digital marketing avenues
- Create newsletters and digital brochure for more consistent customer interaction & relationships
- Researching keywords using Google, Overture, WordTracker and internal tools
- Use site metrics tools to track site traffic, performance, sales, and page views
- Manage budget in key areas including content creation and design, e-commerce, work order testing, online tracking and analysis, new site concept development, and search engine marketing
- Apply new technology, media, interactive research and emerging standards related to internet marketing and digital media
- Support the team on other duties as required

You may also be asked to:
- Act as an extension of the Marketing team by assisting with product pricing, sales development, sales material creation, marketing communications, etc.
- Prepare presentations and copy for the Chief Business Development Officer using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), as needed.
- Perform copywriting task
- Set-up SKU, create content, and manage existing product contents, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned, you may even be asked to help out in different departments.

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an e-Commerce and/or digital marketing role.
